Today we walked along part of Hadrian’s Wall and explored Housesteads, an impressive Roman Fort.
I explored Carlisle which was a lot of fun (I’d never been before). There are some wonderfully old buildings and a great example of a Stone Keep castle. I even managed to find quite a lot of the old city walls.
Originally, this was to climb Scarfell Pike however, snow and icy conditions meant I decided to circumnavigate Ennerdale Water. I thoroughly recommend this walk.
I have booked tickets to go and see Tosca with my friend in July. I feel like this is the first thing I have officially done on my list.
